Born April 27, 1969 in Reno, Nevada, graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Film and Economics. In the working world John-Paul quickly found an affinity for and specialized in cinematography. John-Paul has been trained by some of the best talent in the industry, including Greg MacGillivray, Mike Hoover, Tony Scott, Max Kleven, Keith Merrill, Dariuz Wolski, and David Fincher. He has over 80 credits to his name in many capacities including, Discoverers IMAX, the Oscar nominated The Living Sea IMAX and Amazon IMAX, Zion IMAX, The Fan, Seven, The Game, Hard Rain, Waterworld, Lethal Weapon 3 & 4, and many commercial campaigns.
