Mark Wahlberg's remake of the 'Six Billion Dollar Man' is set for release in December 2017. The 44-year-old actor has revealed the reboot of the iconic 1970s TV show is going ahead, with filming kicking off next September, and will hit the big screen in two years' time.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: "I'm thrilled to assemble 'The Six Billion Dollar Man' for the big screen. We look forward to creating a Steve Austin for the 21st century."
Damian Szifron, who penned the adaptation, has jumped onboard as director after replacing Peter Berg, while TWC- Dimension will produce the forthcoming film.
