Actor Edward Furlong has been handed six months in jail for violating the terms of his probation.
The 35-year-old was charged with using force on his ex-girlfriend Monica Keena and violating a restraining order.
Furlong, star of films including 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day' and 'American History X', has been arrested twice in the last five months for alleged attacks on Keena.
During a hearing last month, a judge accused Furlong of not taking the restraining order seriously and added that he needed to seek help over his problems with substance abuse.
It's the latest in a long line of brushes with the law, violations of parole, charges of domestic violence and stints in rehab.
Last year he was banned from seeing his six-year-old son Ethan, after the child tested positive for cocaine after spending time with him.
