Batman director Tim Burton is being lined up to make a new big screen adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's company, Plan B, will produce the film, which is expected to be shot in London. Burton will meet Dahl's family in the next few weeks to confirm the deal, Variety reported.
The Dahl estate was at first reluctant to have a remake because the writer was unhappy with the 1971 adaptation, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
