Both Nicole Kidman and J.Lo are hot favourites for awards, but just one wants to win.
The Australian star is almost certain to score a best actress Oscar nomination tomorrow for her stellar role in The Hours.
Jennifer Lopez is in a different race as the favourite ahead of Madonna, Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder for the dubious honour as the year's worst actress.
Nominations for the Golden Raspberry, or Razzie, awards for 2002 were announced yesterday.
Spears is nominated for Crossroads (2002), Madonna for Swept Away (2002), Jolie for Life or Something Like It (2002), Ryder for Mr Deeds Goes to Town, and Lopez has a shot with two films, Enough (2001) and Maid In Manhattan (2002).
Cinematographer Andrew Lesnie, who won last year for Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, is likely to be nominated for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. His biggest Down Under threat is Dion Beebe, for Chicago.
Also in the hunt are Dick Pope (Nicholas Nickleby) and Christopher Doyle (The Quiet American and Rabbit-Proof Fence).
