Renée Zellweger is the latest movie star to show off her singing skills - she's considering a role alongside CATHERINE ZETA JONES in forthcoming movie musical CHICAGO.
The BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY (2001) star has been approached to play ROXIE HART in the film version of BOB FOSSE's hit stage musical. Zeta-Jones is taking on the part of VELMA, and OSCAR winner KEVIN SPACEY is set to play the colourful lawyer defending the two women against murder charges.
mISERY (1990) star KATHY BATES has also joined the cast of the musical, which is scheduled to begin shooting next year (02). (KL/WNV/ES)
