Harrison Ford Set For Fourth Indiana Jones Movie

HARRISON FORD is set to return for a fourth INDIANA JONES movie - and SEAN CONNERY's joining him.

According to THE NEW YORK POST, film bosses are currently looking at scripts set 12 years after INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) when Ford last appeared as the heroic explorer.

PARAMOUNT PICTURES are anxious to sign up the original line-up of STEVEN SPIELBERG directing and GEORGE LUCAS producing - and they're also keen to get Connery on board again after he expressed interest in returning in his role of Indiana's father.

A source at Paramount says, "Harrison wants at least $25 million
(17.8 million) and George and Steven have said they will work for a lesser fee than usual but want a big portion of the movie's proceeds."

There is speculation that the new movie will be set in the lost city of Atlantis or could be a quest for Indiana Jones's long-lost brother.

The film would feature an older Indiana Jones because Ford, at 59, is 20 years older than when he first played the role in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). (LE/WNWCAN/RP)
