Annette Bening is in negotiations for the role of Euphemia in 20th Century Fox's Death on the Nile, the Kenneth Branagh-directed follow-up to his 2017 successful Agatha Christie adaptation Murder on the Orient Express.
Michael Green is again adapting the Agatha Christie novel, with Branagh back as famed, face-furred detective Hercule Poirot. The story this time sees him investigating a murder during a luxurious cruise on the Nile River that he just happens to be on. But just as he identifies a motley collection of would-be killers, several of the suspects also meet their demise, which only deepens the mystery.
Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Jodie Comer and Letitia Wright are already in the cast. Branagh is taking aim at a 9 October 2020 release date.
