Margot Robbie, the 28-year-old Australian actress, is the latest Hollywood A-list star to consider playing the iconic children's doll in an upcoming live-action film.
Robbie's attachment to the film comes after Amy Schumer departed the project over scheduling conflicts in March 2017.
The film is currently being developed by Mattel and has yet to find a home at a studio. But, with Robbie and Jenkins on board, it won't be hard for them to find a home. Insiders say it will most likely land at Warner Bros. since that's where Robbie and Jenkins both have a strong relationship.
