(We just finished our fourth festival and it was a huge success.) The Waterfront Film Festival was started to provide a middle coast venue for quality independent films. It is a non-competitive festival which not only provides filmmakers the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other but also provides Midwestern audiences a chance to see films they may not otherwise get to see. Saugatuck Michigan is a small resort town approximately 100 miles from Chicago and Detroit and is nationally known for its commitment to the arts.
